Engineered Software Employees Support Military Veteran Donation Drive

Support for our veterans starts at home. Engineered Software, Inc. employee and United States Army Ranger veteran Mark Rosen encouraged that support during a recent drive to collect supplies for veterans. Rosen’s wife, Paige Rosen, was part of a five-person team that managed and ran the veteran-centric drive collecting about nine large boxes of supplies for Joint Base Lewis-McChord veterans at the Tacoma Rescue Mission in just one week. Donations included disposable razors, shaving cream, deodorant, shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, travel baby wipes, socks, and snacks. ESI staff sprang to the challenge and filled three of the nine collected donation boxes.

The Tacoma Rescue Mission resource drive targeted homeless veterans as well as putting together some care packages for veterans overseas.

While the week-long drive was a one-time push to collect resources, the Tacoma Rescue Mission has donation boxes available year-round to collect items for veterans.

“We appreciate the ongoing support that our office and communities provide to the veterans,” Mark Rosen said.
