Overtime Update
Items Resolved in the 2009a PIPE-FLO Maintenance
Release:
- An error with the new water table has been
discovered which affects the liquid density of water
at higher temperatures. Above 302 ºF (150 ºC) there
is significant deviation between the density
calculated from the water table and actual water
density data from the International Association for
the Properties of Water and Steam (IAPWS). A
replacement table is installed in the maintenance
release which fixes this problem. (PB#002_09)
- There was an issue with some 2005 systems
causing the program an unexpected exit once opened
in the 2009 version. The issue involved pump
definition and has been resolved.
- Some additional program stability issues were
identified and resolved. These include XLink
use with a certain combination of Windows and Excel
versions, some rare instances of splitting pipes
within PIPE-FLO, and when the autoname feature
exceeds the number of digits specified in the
autoname base. (PB#001-09)
