Schendt Engineering conducts system analysis
in very large campus settings including a 1
million square foot Compaq computer facility
and a large Veterans Administration Medical
Center. These systems are extremely complex
and require both skilled engineering and a
hydraulic analysis program that allows users
to diagram their system and conduct complex
calculations. To meet their hydraulic
analysis needs, Schendt Engineering turned
to PIPE-FLO.

Bill Kane, Manufacturing Technologist at
Monsanto has used the PIPE-FLO product line
for seven years to analyze plant
distribution systems. Bill relied on both
PIPE-FLO Professional and Compressible when
analyzing steam, compressed air and water
systems in the Monsanto Plant in Luling, LA.
PIPE-FLO was used on numerous projects
throughout the plant, including one large
project where the company optimized the
plants compressed air system saving $40,000
per year in energy costs.

As a full service engineering firm, Parker,
Messana & Associates work on large, complex
systems with multiple branches and pumps. To
conduct hydraulic analysis, the company used
a spreadsheet designed in-house by one of
their engineers. This was both cumbersome
and time consuming. Parker, Messana &
Associates needed n hydraulic analysis tool
that was both efficient and easy-to-use.
